Travel to Jaipur, the Pink City of India. Jaipur being a major tourist destination in India, the city is well connected with other parts of the country. Also an integral part of the Golden Triangle circuit, Jaipur is well accessible by air, rail and road.
Air:
Jaipur airport, also known as Sanganer Airport, is directly connected Delhi, Bombay, Jodhpur, Udaipur, and Ahmedabad through regular flights. All major domestic airlines have their services to and from Jaipur. The total distance of the city from the airport is around 15 km. It takes around 25 minutes to reach the city.
Rail:
Tourists can also travel to Jaipur from Delhi on the Pink City Express. It leaves Delhi at 6 a.m. and reaches Jaipur at 11 a.m. Chetak Express, Jaipur-Delhi Services and another late evening train leaves for Jaipur from Old Delhi Railway Station. However, if one has money and leisure, there is no better option than traveling on the Palace-on-Wheels, which starts from Delhi Cantonment Station.
Road:
Jaipur is well connected by road to various parts of India. Delhi-Jaipur national highway is one of the finest roads in India. Normally, traveling from Jaipur to Delhi takes about five hours. There are also good bus services from Delhi, Agra and other important north Indian cities to Jaipur.
