Promotions for JAS 08 began months in advance as a part of a well thought-out media plan. Besides the extensive outdoor advertising in various cities across India, including smaller cities and towns, the show has received wide media coverage.
Posters of the show have been put up in numerous international shows, including the Bangkok Show, Tucson, JCK Las Vegas, the Hong Kong Show and JJS 07. The show was advertised on the JCK and Diamond World Calendar. JAS is going to participate in JCK New Delhi and the Bangkok Gems & JewelleryPosters have also been prominently displayed at the Jewellery showrooms and offices in Jaipur. Advertising on radio will begin a fortnight before the show.
40,000 copies of the first JAS 08 Update were distributed to jewellers around the world. Another 60,000 copies of the second Update will be distributed before the show.
