It is still a month to go for the prestigious Jewellers Association Show (JAS) 2008 to begin that has carved its niche at the international level but the members are quite busy to make the show a grand success.
The show will be organised at Birla Auditorium between August 28 and 31. The show committee member Sanjay Kala today inspected the ongoing preparations at the venue and gave necessary directions. He said preparations are at full swing.
Show committee members Sanjay Kala and Mahaveer Prasad Sharma instructed for Stall placement, Security Arrangements and other facilities for the guests. According to Kala this time Visitors, Exhibitors, Show members and Volunteers would be given entry through Digital Photo ID cards. In regard to the security arrangements, Kala said continuous watch would be kept at all the places through CCTV cameras. Display screens have been put at important places and other arrangements like announcement facility etc too have been made, so that no one faces any problems. Even special attention has been paid towards fire brigade and first aid, he added.
It is to be mentioned that international ambassadors nominated for publicity and advertising of JAS 2008 at the international level visited the Jewellers Association office during last Saturday. Association president Ajay Kala and JAS committee members had extended a grand welcome to these ambassadors.
