RULES AND REGULATION
| Design Submission | |
| 1. | Use a white sheet and mount the design. Design must be rendered on a plain white paper measuring 210 mm x 297 mm (A4 size). Design should be fit to scale on A4 sheets. Designs in any other size and format would be rejected. |
| 2. | The entries for JAS 08 Jewellery Design Award should not have been submitted for any other jewellery design competition. |
| 3. | Copying of a design and designs submitted by modifying someone else's design work, would automatically disqualify the contestant from present and future competitions. Decisions of the judges will be final in this regard. |
| 4. | Designs must not have any signatures, identification marks or notes on the rendered side. |
| 5. | A copy of the completed entry form should be attached along with the design. In case of multiple entries, each design should have a copy of the filled-in entry form. |
| Participation | |
| 6. | All finalists would need to submit two passport size photographs; each photograph should have the finalists' name on reverse. |
| 7. | Designers and students must keep a copy of all design submissions. |
| Judging criteria | |
| 8. | Judging criteria would be based on concept, aesthetics, originality, wearability, clear depiction of the theme, easy mechanism and commercial viability of the design. |
| Winners | |
| 9. | Winners would be informed by mail and telephone. |
| 10. | Decision of the judges' panel regarding selection of the finalists will be binding and final. |
| 11. | All Design illustrations for JAS 08 competition will be the sole property of JAS’08 committee, which could be used for publication or otherwise. |
| 12. | It is mandatory for all winners to attend the function personally at their own expenses. |
| 13. | The participant must insure the jewellery pieces before sending them to the JAS office. |
| 14. | The Jewellery pieces will remain with the JAS committee till the end of the show and may be displayed during the show. |
| 15. | The manufactured products are to be collected after the completion of the show in person by the designer or sponsor. |

| 17. | The Committee has the rights to change the rules & regulation of the competition if required. |
| 18. | All disputes are subject to Jaipur jurisdiction only. |
| 19. | The jewellery piece made by the sponsor shall be the sole property of the sponsor. |
| 20. | The design will be the property of the JAS and it cannot be further used by the designer for any other competition or commercial production. |
