JAS 08 will be organised from 28th to 31st August 2008 at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur over an area of 1,00,000 sq. ft. About 250 exhibitors from different parts of the world will make the fair a varied but focused showcase of the gems & jewellery industry. Over 5000 national and international buyers are expected to visit the fair this year, besides thousands of local visitors.

An elaborate promotion campaign will precede JAS 08, like the last year, and run through the show. The show and its participants will benefit from the print and outdoor advertising blitz, which is already gaining momentum, besides the extensive media coverage which the show enjoys all over the country.

The show posters have already been put up at most international shows in Bangkok, Tuscon, JCK and Hongkong among others. Advertisements have already appeared in the world's leading gems and jewellery magazines like JCK and Diamond World. Tens of thousands of copies of JAS Update, the official JAS newsletter will be sent out around the world – three issues before the show begins. This is in addition to thousands of emailers, telecalling and detailed information about the show on website www.jasjaipur.com.
